Armful of Flowers started as a small idea for grower and part owner, Kelly, to grow flowers in her backyard for her own wedding and it has flourished into an exciting start up business - a local flower farm set in the urban hills of Mount Washington. With the support of the community and her ever-growing passion, Armful of Flowers was created through the core values of community and sustainable practices, coupled with the love of creating beauty to share with others; offering a place where we build relationships and community around thriving growth and beauty.
In partnership with The Big Ham Group and business owner, Jessica Rewis, our initiatives include a large focus on hands-on education with flower arranging classes, gardening classes and children’s events; floral sales through monthly subscription services, farmers markets and local pop up vending opportunities, seasonal arrangement sales, and pick your own flower experiences. Jessica adds her business savvy to the strengths of our growing business to guide Armful of Flowers along the way with all of these wonderful community focused initiatives.
There's no better feeling than walking through a row of flowers and finding the perfect bloom to complete your arrangement. How satisfying to show the Steel City how beautiful growth can be found right atop the Three Rivers. The local floral industry is lacking in this intuitive, sustainable, homegrown concept and we can’t wait to fill that void.
Encouraging urban communities to have their own #armfulofflowers.
